Alex realizes that it could be her boyfriend’s last chance to launch his photographic career and lets him part while they figure out a way to make a 10.000 km long-distance relationship work. They compromise on making the relationship work via online interaction but the same technology that is supposed to bring them together may be the very thing that sets them apart.

The story unfolds when she decides to join the two friends in a trip without heading, the adventure teaches the three about, life, sex and friendship as well as mark their lives forever.

3. El Laberinto del Fauno

Set in 1944 after the Spanish Civil War, we follow the story of a young girl named Ofelia who has just moved with her family to the Spanish countryside. Ofelia’s mother is married the to a sadistic army captain who is set to fulfill the orders of General Franco which are to eliminate a guerilla uprising in the area. Ofelia is forced to entertain herself as her mother is bedridden and immobilized do to a complicated pregnancy so she soon stumbles into a hidden stone labyrinth presided over by a mythical faun namde Pan. Pan tells her that she is the lost legendary princess and that in order to return to her underground home she must complete a series of life-threatening tasks.

His life is influenced in great part by two women: Julia, a lawyer who supports his cause and Rosa, a neighbor who tries to convince him that life is worth fighting for. Despite his wish to die, Ramón teaches everyone he encounters the meaning, value and preciousness of life.

An App to Watch Arthouse Films Has Been Released (Video)

Watching an arthouse film will not be a problem anymore. Freesat, a satellite TV service, has launched its first application to watch independent and arthouse movies. This new applications is called Curzon Home Cinema and it is also available for Samsung Smart TVs and BT TV.

Although the app is not for free, it allows watching the arthouse films that it offers, and the best of it is that you can watch the same films that are being displayed at the movie theater but in your house.

According to Emma ScottFreesat’s Managing Director, it is exciting to launch the first application to watch independent films and arthouse films. People will have the opportunity to discover the wonders of arthouse cinema along with enjoying movies made with different purposes. Besides, you do not have to pay for the applicationbut for the movie you watch.

Some of the movies that Curzon Home Cinema is already offering are:
