Robert De Niro founded in 2002 together with Jane Rosenthal the Tribeca Film Festival with the finality to celebrate New York City as a major film making center and honoring the attracts of September 11, 2001. As every year since the festival was launched, a panel discussions the independent films presented, that includes documentaries, narrative features and shorts and a family-friendly films program.
Below Dreams, Regarding Susan Sontag, Art and Craft, Land Ho!, Ballet 422, were some of the best art films played during the festival celebrated for 11 days, from April 16 through 27 of 2014.
Stuart Ortiz and Colin Minihan, the Vicious Brothers are the writers of “Extraterrestrial”. The film, directed by Mr. Minihan, stand up in the Tribeca Film Festival, telling the story about friends that ventures to a cabin in the wood but the night brings the crash landing of a giant spaceship changing the plans and converting the film in a twist straight out of “The X Files.”
